天美传媒 Center for Supercomputing Research
The 天美传媒 Center for Supercomputing Research (MCSR) provides high-performance computing (HPC) resources and technical expertise to support advanced research and academic projects across 天美传媒鈥檚 public universities, including Alcorn State, Delta State, Jackson State, 天美传媒 State, 天美传媒 Valley State, 天美传媒 University for Women, and the University of Southern 天美传媒.
Welcome to the 天美传媒 Center for Supercomputing Research!
Since 1987, MCSR has enabled 天美传媒’s universities and institutions to conduct cutting-edge scientific, engineering, and scholarly work. We provide access to state-supported supercomputing systems, software environments, data storage, and training in computational methods. Our services are available at no charge to faculty, staff, and students affiliated with 天美传媒’s public institutions of higher learning.
In addition to hardware access, MCSR offers technical resources for getting started, guidance for running jobs, and software support. We are committed to educational outreach and regularly host training workshops to help researchers and students build essential skills in scientific computing and data analysis.
Whether you're modeling complex systems, processing large datasets, or running simulations, MCSR is here to help you take your research further.
Fall MCSR Workshops
MCSR will once again offer technical workshops to help our users and others in the 天美传媒 education community get the most out of their computing resources.
All workshops are on Wednesdays from 2:00-3:00pm . There is no need to register, just show up on the Zoom link at the appointed time. A reminder will be sent to the MCSR Users email list 30 minutes before each workshop.
If you’re not an MCSR user, but would like to receive a reminder email 30 minutes prior to each workshop, please join the mcsr-workshops email list by sending an email to mcsr-workshops+subscribe@listserv.olemiss.edu.
If you would like to receive a link to the recording of the workshop, please join the mcsr-videos email list by sending an email to mcsr-videos+subscribe@listserv.olemiss.edu. The video will be sent out late Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning.
